The author considers the generalized Prandtl equation. He applies modified quasi-interpolatory splines in a Nyström type method for solving it numerically. Necessary conditions are established for demonstrating that the approximate solution of the equation converges to the true solution. Moreover, some computational aspects of the proposed method are illustrated.
