The construction of stiffly accurate and \(B\)-stable multi-implicit Runge-Kutta methods for parallel implementation is discussed. A fifth and a seventh order method are constructed and a promising numerical comparison with the efficient Radau-5-code of \textit{E. Hairer} and \textit{G. Wanner} [Solving ordinary differential equations. II. Stiff and differential-algebraic problems (1991; Zbl 0729.65051)] is considered.
