    The present article illustrates the author's results in ibid. 311-327 (1996; see the review above). The motion of two identical axially symmetric coupled rigid bodies with constant linear momentum gives rise to a Hamiltonian system with the fairly large symmetry group \(\text{SO} (3) \times S^1 \times S^1\), which in turn leads to Hamiltonian flows on the reduced spaces.
