The paper is a continuation of Part I [ibid. 158, 173-184 (1996)], reviewed above, which is devoted to the fixed-point property of posets. It contains a long proof of the main result of the previous paper: Let \(\Pi= \langle P_\xi: \xi\leq \lambda \rangle\) be an ANTI-perfect sequence of a connected caccc poset \(P\) which contains no one-way infinite fence. Then \(P_\xi\) is a retract of \(P\) for every \(\xi\leq \lambda\); in particular, the ANTI-core \(P_\lambda\) is a retract of \(P\).
