    It is shown, in contrast to the case of ordered associative proper algebras, that there exist proper formally real quasifields and even proper formally real division algebras of finite dimension over their kernels. In fact examples of such structures are given of dimension \(n\) for each natural number \(n\), where \(n>1\).
