Ball separation properties in Banach spaces (Q1293502): Difference between revisions

In this very interesting paper the authors study various ball separation properties related to the Mazur intersection property in Banach spaces. We have, among other, a local characterization of generalized weak\(^*\) denting points, new geometric conditions on ball separation properties, a ball separation characterization of Hahn-Banach smoothness of Banach spaces, a stability result on weak\(^*\) denting points, weak\(^*\)-weak points of continuity and extreme points.
