Starting from certain complex manifolds \(Y\) whose tangent bundle is trivial as a real vector bundle but is not trivial as a complex vector bundle, the author shows that proper holomorphic embeddings of \(Y\) in an euclidian space (or, in a case, in four dimensional Stein manifold) furnish several very interesting examples of closed complex submanifolds in complex euclidian spaces, which are differential complete intersections but not holomorphic complete intersections. Another result presented here deals with removing intersections of holomorphic mappings from Stein manifolds, thus extending a result from \textit{O. Forster} and \textit{K. J. Ramspott} [Invent. Math. 2, 145-170 (1966; Zbl 0154.33401)].
