Let \(T= \{z\in \mathbb{C}\mid |z|=1\}\) be the unit circle, where \(z=e^{i\theta}\) for \(0\leq\theta \leq 2\pi\). Let \(\sigma(\theta)\) be a finite positive Borel measure on the unit circle \(T\) with an infinite spectrum. The goal of the present paper is twofold: the first purpose of this paper is to present an explicit form of one-parameter, say \(t\), deformation of the Schur parameters \(\alpha_k\) which is induced by a linear evolution of the measure \(\sigma(\theta)\). The authors show that the deformation of \(\alpha_k\) is described by the complex version of the semi-discrete modified KdV equation. The second purpose of the present paper is to design a new algorithm by which one can avoid a direct calculation of the same determinants.
