In this paper the authors generalise the notions of MV-module and product MV-algebra to the notion of a pseudo MV-algebra with \(n\)-ary operators. (For an exposition of product MV-algebras, see, e.g., \textit{A. Di Nola} and \textit{A. Dvurečenskij} [Mult.-Valued Log. 6, 193--215 (2001; Zbl 1016.06006)].) The topics of the paper include: comprehensive introduction to the theory of pseudo MV-algebras; \(n\)-ary operators on MV-algebras; connection between the operators defined on a pseudo MV-algebra and the operators defined on the corresponding \(\ell\)-group; proof of the analogue of Mundici's categorical equivalence between pseudo MV-algebras with operators and \(\ell\)-groups with operators. This paper is essentially self-contained. Special interest is paid to the study of noncommutative MV-algebraic structures. The research is presented in a quite effective way, so, despite of the relative complexity of the topic of MV-algebras, the paper can easily be followed.
