The author deduces four theorems concerning semi-Riemannian submersions \(\pi\) with totally geodesic fibres. The first theorem assumes additionally, that the dimension of the fibres shall be less than 4, and then \(\pi\) is shown to be equivalent to one of two canonical submersions. The second and the third theorem are of a similar structure, whereas the fourth one deals with submersions having quaternionic fibres. The proofs use many inequalities for the curvature tensor.
