    In the paper the large time behaviour of a solution \(u(t,x)\) to the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear differential equation of the form (the generalized KPZ equation) \[ u_t=\Delta u + | \nabla u| ^q, \quad t>0, \;x \in \mathbb R^n, \] with a non-negative initial function \(u_0(x)\) and \(q>0\), is studied. The main result presents the asymptotic behaviour of the expression \(I_p(t)=\| u(t,\cdot)\| _{L_p(\mathbb R^n)},\) as \(t \rightarrow \infty\) in dependence on \(q\), \(n\) and \(p\).
