A construction of cyclic Steiner triple systems of order \(p^ n\) (Q1097888): Difference between revisions

This note constructs cyclic Steiner triple systems of orders \(p^ n\) for all primes \(p\equiv 1\pmod 6\). The systems have a number of interesting properties: 1. They are simply constructed counter examples to the Bays- Lambossy conjecture concerning isomorphic systems which are not muliplier isomorphic. 2. They may be cyclically nested. 3. They contain cyclic subsystems of orders \(p^ m\) for all \(m\leq n\).
