This paper may be considered as a contribution to the study of the theta- correspondence between automorphic representations of GSp(4) and of \(GO^+(6)\). It is proved that, locally, there is at most one generic representation of GSp(4,F) corresponding to a given irreducible representation of \(GO^+(6,F)\). As a consequence we have an injectivity result for the theta-correspondence from generic automorphic representations of GSp(4) to \(GO^+(6)\), which in its turn implies the strong multiplicity-one theorem for generic representations of GSp(4).
