    It is shown that if two k-automorphisms \(\phi\) and \({\hat \phi}\) of the polynomial ring \(k[x_ 1,...,x_ n]\), where k is a reduced ring and \(n\geq 2\), are given by two systems of n polynomials \(\phi =(f_ 1,...,f_ n)\) and \({\hat \phi}=(\hat f_ 1,...,\hat f_ n)\) such that they have the same face polynomials then \(\phi ={\hat \phi}\).
