The authors show how to construct a noncommutative 3-dimensional spectral geometry on the manifold of the quantum group \(\text{SU}_q (2)\). This is done by building \(a\) \(3^+\)-summable spectral triple \((\mathcal A(\text{SU}_q (2)),\mathcal H, D)\), which is equivariant with respect to a left and a right action of \(\mathcal U_q (su(2))\). The geometry is isospectral to the classical case in the sense that the spectrum of the operator \(D\) is the same as the spectrum of the usual Dirac operator on the 3-sphere \(\text{SU} (2)\) with the round metric. The construction is presented in a precise and elegant way.
