\textit{J. A. Fridy} and \textit{C. Orhan} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 125, 3625-3631 (1997; Zbl 0883.40003)] defined the concepts of statistical limit superior and limit inferior. In this paper the authors define these concepts for statistically bounded sequences of fuzzy numbers, and establish a number of properties of lim inf and lim sup in this context.
