Maximum theorems with strict quasi-concavity and applications (Q2492413): Difference between revisions

By using a generalization of the KKM theorem, the authors prove two maximum theorems without assuming upper semicontinuity. As an application, they obtain an existence theorem for social equilibrium. They also give two illustrative examples for systems of constrained optimization problems.
