A class of maximal operators related to rough singular integrals on product spaces (Q2496946): Difference between revisions

This paper is concerned with studying the \(L^p\) boundedness of a class of maximal operators \(S^{(\gamma)}_{\Omega}\) related to rough singular integrals on product spaces. We obtain appropriate \(L^p\) bounds for such maximal operators and establish the optimality of our condition on the kernel for the \(L^2\) boundedness of \(S^{(2)}_{\Omega}\). Our results improve substantially the main result obtained by \textit{Y. Ding} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 232, No. 1, 222--228 (1999; Zbl 0920.42013)].
