Let \(G\) be the reductive algebraic group \(\text{SL}_2\) over a field \(k\) of characteristic \(p>0\), or its Dipper-Donkin quantization. The author derives recursive formulas for \(\text{Ext}^\bullet_G(\Delta(\lambda),\Delta(\mu))\), \(\text{Ext}^\bullet_G(L(\lambda),\Delta(\mu))\), \(\text{Ext}^\bullet_G(\Delta(\lambda),L(\mu))\), \(\text{Ext}^\bullet_G(L(\lambda),L(\mu))\). Here \(L(\lambda)\) is the simple module with highest weight \(\lambda\) and \(\Delta(\lambda)\) is the Weyl module of highest weight \(\lambda\). One tool is a novel way of constructing a Lyndon-Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence. It involves resolutions with modules for the full group that are only injective resolutions upon restriction to the normal subgroup. Thus the double complex at the \(E_0\) page may be kept much smaller than usual. This improves the grip on the \(E_r\) differentials for \(r\geq 2\). In the paper this advantage is amply demonstrated when the normal subgroup is the first Frobenius kernel.
