The authors prove the existence of one or two nontrivial solutions for a class of two-parameter hemivariational inequalities. Let \(\psi:X\times\Lambda\to\mathbb{R}\) be a function such that \(\psi(u,\cdot)\) is concave, \(\psi(\cdot,A)\) is coercive, and satisfying a certain minimax inequality, then \(\psi(\cdot,\lambda)\) admits at least two local minima. If, in addition, \(\psi(\cdot,\lambda)\) is continuously Gâteaux differentiable and satisfies the Palais--Smale condition, then \(\psi(\cdot,\lambda)\) admits a third critical point. This result allows applications to a number of variational problems which can be expressed in terms of the search for critical points of Gâteaux differentiable functions.
