    The author describes toric varieties having enough effective invariant Cartier divisors in terms of homogeneous spectra of multigraded homogeneous coordinate rings. This complements earlier work of \textit{D. A. Cox} [J. Algebr. Geom. 4, 17--50 (1995; Zbl 0846.14032)], \textit{T. Kajiwara} [Tohoku Math. J. 50, 139--157 (1998; Zbl 0949.14032)], \textit{A. A'Campo-Neuen, J. Hausen}, and \textit{S. Schröer} [Math. Nachr. 246--247, 5--19 (2002; Zbl 1064.14059)], and \textit{H. Brenner} and \textit{S. Schröer} [Pac. J. Math. 208, 209--230 (2003; Zbl 1095.14004)].
