In addition, the authors also consider more general boundary conditions of the form \[ P_i(y(a), y'(a),\dots, y^{(n-1)}(a), y(b), y'(b),\dots, y^{(n-1)}(b))= 0, \] \(i= 1,\dots, n\), where \(P_i\in C(\mathbb{R}^{2n}, \mathbb{R})\) for \(i= 1,2,\dots, n\). They apply the differential inequality methods, the bounding function method, and topological degree theory to obtain their results.
