This paper gives some estimates of the \(L^p\)-norm of the Jacobi transform \(\hat f_{\alpha, \beta}(\lambda)\) with respect to a certain measure. The main theorem is an uncertainty principle that bounds the product of the ``moments'' of \(f\) and \(\hat f\) from below. An uncertainty principle on \(SU(1,1)\) is also obtained.
