The paper deals with various kinds of order ideals of ordered sets (posets) and with their extensions. The author, e.g., characterizes distributive posets by means of extensions of normal ideals. Futher he introduces \(n\)-prime ideals and \(k\)-closed ideals of posets and shows that they are in fact equivalent.
