A new concept of \(t\)-partitionable Mendelsohn candelabra systems is introduced, and a number of constructions are provided. Using these it is shown that a large set of pure Mendelsohn triple systems of order \(v\) exists if and only if \(v \equiv 0,1 \pmod 3\), \(v \geq 4\), and \(v \not\in \{6,7\}\).
