Generalized Fresnel integrals and fractal properties of related spirals (Q2379046): Difference between revisions

A new asymptotic expansion of generalized Fresnel integrals \(\int_0^t\cos q(s)ds\) for large \(t\), \(s(t)\sim s^p\) \((s\to\infty, p>1)\) is obtained. The box dimension of the related \(q\)-clothoid is found to be \(d=2p/(2p-1)\), and its \(d\)-dimensional Minkowski content is calculated. The oscillatory dimension of Fresnel integral is also given.
