The authors study the box dimension, Minkowski content and Minkowski measurability of nonrectifiable, smooth spiral trajectories of some dynamical systems in the plane. The authors present box dimension and Minkowski content of spirals of power type, Hopf-Takens bifurcation (and the examples of that bifurcations), local box dimension and density of Minkowski contents of power spirals and logarithmic spirals. The subject is very actual and very interesting. The paper is very well written and contains suggestive examples.
