The authors study the perfect conductivity problem in a limiting case. They establish both lower and upper bounds to blow-up rates of the gradient for the solution to this problem in a bounded matrix, where two strictly convex subdomains are embedded. In the Appendix of this paper there are recalled some elementary results for the conductivity problem.
