Deformation quantization on the closure of minimal coadjoint orbits (Q835675): Difference between revisions

This paper deals with equivariant deformation quantization. Let \(g\) be a Lie algebra and \(G\) its adjoint Lie group. It is well-known that each coadjoint orbit is a symplectic manifold. The links between these orbits and representation theory have been shown by Kirillov. Using the theory of deformation quantization, the author goes further. More precisely, he concentrates on algebraic invariant star-products on the minimal orbit and studies the relation with the Lie algebra. An ideal called the Joseph ideal is naturally associated to the minimal orbit. As a byproduct, the author gives explicit expressions for the generators of this ideal.
