The authors extend a Mann-type iteration algorithm, introduced and studied by \textit{C.\,E.\thinspace Chidume, H.\,Zegeye} and \textit{K.\,R.\thinspace Kazmi} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl.\ 59, No.\,5 (A), 649--656 (2004; Zbl 1076.47049)], to an Ishikawa-type iteration algorithm for solving multi-valued variational inclusion problems. They also provide a characterization of strong convergence of their algorithm to the solutions of variational inclusion problems.
