Let \(\mathcal{F}\) be a germ of a holomorphic foliation of \((\mathbb{C}^2,0)\) with a curve of separatrices \(C\). If \(\omega\) is a 1-form, the polar curve \(\Gamma\) of \(\mathcal{F}\) with respect to a direction \([a:b]\in\mathbb{CP}(1)\) is defined as \(\omega \wedge (ady-bdx)=0\). There exists a Zariski-open set of directions such that the equisingularity type \(\varepsilon(\Gamma \cup C)\) of \(\Gamma \cup C\) is the same one independently of \(\omega\) and of coordinates. This generic type of equisingularity is denoted by \(\wp(\mathcal{F})\). In this interesting paper, the author gives an accurate description of the types \(\wp(\mathcal{F})\) in terms of the equisingularity type \(\varepsilon(C)\) of \(C\). The author obtains as main result the equisingularity types \(\varepsilon(C)\) of \(C\) such that \(\wp(\mathcal{F})\) is completely determined by \(\varepsilon(C)\) for Zariski-general foliations \(\mathcal{F}\), and which are called kind singularities. Moreover, it is shown by examples that the Hamiltonian foliations can be out of the generic type. The proofs are mainly based on the adjunction properties of polar curves and certain relationships between Newton polygon and infinitely near points of a curve developed in a previous work of the author [Ann. Inst. Fourier 53, No.~3, 787--814 (2003; Zbl 1032.32019)]. The paper is very well writen and also contains two appendices that makes the reading easier. The main result was announced in [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 344, No.~1, 33--36 (2007; Zbl 1116.32021)].
