In this paper, the authors review some topological properties of hyperconvex spaces, \(\mathcal{R}\)-trees and normed spaces and consider relationships between closed and convex sets and hyperconvexity. Then they prove that a Krein-Milman type theorem holds for \(\mathcal{R}\)-trees.
