This paper constructs various wavelets and framelets derived from a particular interesting family \(\mathcal{B}_{\delta, \Omega}\) of band-limited refinable functions with the dilation factor \(2\) (see Definition 2.2) enjoying an interesting and simple structure in Theorem 2.1. For any refinable function \(\phi\in \mathcal{B}_{\delta, \Omega}\), a simple criterion is given in Theorem 2.2 for the integer shifts of \(\phi\) to be a Riesz basis or a frame for \(V_0\), which is the closed linear span of \(\phi(\cdot-k), k\in \mathbb{Z}\). Starting from such band-limited refinable functions in \(\mathcal{B}_{\delta, \Omega}\), band-limited biorthogonal wavelets for \(L^2(\mathbb{R})\) are constructed in Theorem 3.1 and band-limited bi-frames for \(L^2(\mathbb{R})\) are constructed in Theorem 3.2. Band-limited Riesz wavelets are also given in Corollary 3.1 and band-limited tight framelets are given in Corollary 3.2. Two detailed examples are also provided to illustrate the results in the paper. The constructed band-limited wavelets and framelets are of particular interest for processing band-limited signals.
