The linear Hamiltonian system \[ Jy'(t)=(\lambda W(t)+P(t))y(t),\; t\in (a,b) \eqno{(1)} \] is considered. Here, \(a\) and \(b\) are singular, i.e., \(a\) or \(b\) may be infinite, or either one of \(W\) and \(P\) or both \(W\) and \(P\) are not integrable near \(a\) or \(b\); \(W(t)\) and \(P(t)\) are \(2n\times 2n\) Hermitian matrices and locally integrable in \((a,b)\); \(J\) is canonical symplectic matrix, i.e., \(J=\left( \begin{smallmatrix} 0& -I_n\\ I_n& 0 \end{smallmatrix}\right)\) and \(I_n\) is the \(n\times n\) unit matrix; \(W(t)\geq 0\) is a weight function. The authors study characterizations of all the selfadjoint extensions of the minimal operator \(H_0\) corresponding to system (1) with two singular endpoints. At first, left and right maximal and minimal operators \(H_a, H_{a,0}, H_b\) and \(H_{b,0}\) corresponding to system (1) in the corresponding subintervals are introduced and descriptions of their domains are studied. Then the defect indices of \(H_0\) are expressed in terms of those of \(H_{a,0}\) and \(H_{b,0}\). Next, characterizations of all selfadjoint extensions of \(H_0\) are given in terms of the square integrable solutions of (1) defined in \((a, c_0]\) and \([c_0,b)\), \(a<c_0<b\). Finally, characterizations of all selfadjoint extensions of \(H_0\) are given in terms of the square integrable solutions of (1) in the two cases when \(\text{Im}\lambda \neq 0\) and \(\lambda \in \mathbb{R}\).
