The paper is devoted to the so-called finite-rank problem for Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space over the unit disk. Extending the recent result of \textit{D. H. Luecking} [``Finite rank Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space'', Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 136, No.~5, 1717--1723 (2008; Zbl 1152.47021)], the author shows that, if all, except possibly one, of the functions \(f_1,\dots,f_m\) are radial and the product \(T_{f_1}\cdot\dots\cdot T_{f_m}\) is a finite rank operator, then one of the functions must be zero.
