All self-dual \([n,n/2,8]\) codes having an automorphism of order 3 with 8 independent cycles are obtained for \(n=38,40,44\), up to equivalence. The method used for constructing them is based on previous results given by \textit{W. C. Huffman} [Finite Fields Appl. 11, No. 3, 451--490 (2005; Zbl 1087.94023)] and \textit{V. Y. Yorgov} [IEEE Trans. Inf. Theory 33, 77--82 (1987; Zbl 0636.94017)], as well as some computer search.
