Boltzmann limit for a homogeneous Fermi gas with dynamical Hartree-Fock interactions in a random medium (Q535043): Difference between revisions

The article deals with the dynamics of a homogeneous, bounded gas of fermions with pair interactions in presence of an external, static, and weakly disordered random potential. Pair interactions between particles are treated by the Hartree-Fock theory. The authors determine the Boltzmann scaling limits associated to time scales relevant to the dynamics of the momentum distribution function at positive temperature. The main motivation of this work is to achieve a better understanding of the trend to the system equilibrium, and to control the interplay between the influence of the static randomness and nonlinear self-interaction of particles.
