The authors investigate holomorphic and isometric (Kähler) immersions of complete noncompact Kähler-Einstein manifolds \((M,g)\) into the infinite dimensional complex projective space \(\mathbb{CP}^{\infty}\) equipped with the Fubini-Study metric \(g_{FS}\). A metric \(g\) is called projectively induced if there is a Kähler immersion of \((M,g)\) into \((\mathbb{CP}^{\infty},g_{FS})\). The main result the authors prove is the following: Theorem. There exists a continuous family of homothetic, complete, nonhomogeneous and projectively induced Kähler-Einstein metrics on each Cartan-Hartogs domain based on an irreducible bounded symmetric domain of rank \(r\neq 1\). The authors also prove that, if \(\Omega\) is an irreducible bounded symmetric domain with Bergmann metric \(g_B\), then \((\Omega,c g_B)\) admits an equivariant Kähler immersion into \((\mathbb{CP}^{\infty},g_{FS})\) if and only if \(c\gamma\in W(\Omega)-\{0\}\), where \(W(\Omega)\) is the Wallach set of the domain \(\Omega\) and \(\gamma\) is the genus of \(\Omega\).
