Global existence of strong solutions of Navier-Stokes equations with non-Newtonian potential for one-dimensional isentropic compressible fluids (Q5894296): Difference between revisions

The authors consider one-dimensional isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations under the non-Newtonian gravitational force. This means that in the momentum equations there is an additional term having the non-Newtonian gravitational potential. The authors prove the global existence and uniqueness of strong solutions. The uniqueness result requires a compatibilty condition for the initial data.
