Isometries, geodesics and Jacobi fields of Lorentzian Heisenberg group (Q644600): Difference between revisions

The paper under review contains a series of computations regarding left-invariant Lorentzian metrics on the Heisenberg group. These were classified by the second author [J. Geom. Phys. 9, No. 3, 295--302 (1992; Zbl 0752.53036)] and appear in three different types (two one-parameter families of non-flat metrics, and one flat metric). Using explicit formulas for such metrics, the authors generate explicit formulas for the isometries, geodesics and Jacobi vector fields of each of them, and also compute their isometry groups.
