The authors derive an existence result for a class of nonlinear systems involving a duality mapping defined on a product spaces. As an application, they obtain an existence result for a system with \((q,p)\)-Laplacian of the type \[ \begin{cases} -\Delta_qu_1=N_f(u_1,u_2),\\ -\Delta_pu_2=N_g(u_1,u_2), \end{cases} \] where \(-\Delta_p\) is the \(p\)-Laplacian and \(N_f\) stands for the Nemytskii mapping corresponding to a Carathéodory function \(f\) which satisfies suitable growth conditions.
