In this paper the author describes the structure of certain completions of symplectic reflection algebras and develops a reduction procedure leading to smaller algebras. This is then applied to study two-sided ideals and Harish-Chandra bimodules for symplectic reflection algebras. In particular, the author gives a complete classification of two-sided ideals for rational Cherednik algebras of type \(A\).
