On the levels of maps and topological realization of objects in a triangulated category (Q425276): Difference between revisions

Let \(X\) be a space, \(Top_{X}\) be the category of spaces over \(X\) and \(C^{*}(- ; K)\) be the singular cochain complex functor with coefficients in a field \(K\). The level of a space \(Y\) over \(X\) (called also the level of the map \(Y \rightarrow X\)) is the level of the differential graded \(C^{*}(X ; K)\)-module \(C^{*}(Y ; K)\) (see, \textit{L. L. Avramov} et al., [Adv. Math. 223, No. 5, 1731--781 (2010); corrigendum ibid. 225, No. 6, 3576--3578 (2010; Zbl 1186.13006)]). In this paper, the author gives some properties of this invariant and shows how to compute it in certain cases.
