Motivated by the barycentric rational interpolation method of \textit{M. S. Floater} and \textit{K. Hormann} [Numer. Math. 107, No. 2, 315--331 (2007; Zbl 1221.41002)], the authors construct two linear barycentric rational quadrature rules. The weights of the first quadrature rule are obtained by integration of the Lagrange fundamental rational functions. The second rule is based on the solution of a simple boundary value problem and yields an approximation of the antiderivative (primitive) of the integrand. It is shown that the convergence order of the first rule is one unit larger than that of the interpolation. Numerical tests are presented too.
