In [J. Differ. Geom. 59, No. 3, 479--522 (2001; Zbl 1052.32017)], \textit{S. Donaldson} has shown that if \((V,L)\) is a polarized manifold with \(Aut(V,L)\) discrete and with constant scalar curvature metric in the class \(c_1(L)\), then \((V,L)\) is asymptotically Chow stable. The authors of this paper show that this result is not true if \(Aut(X,L)\) is not discrete. They study an example of non-symmetric toric Fano manifold with Kähler-Einstein metric introduced by \textit{B. Nill} and \textit{A. Paffenholz} [Beitr. Algebra Geom. 52, No. 2, 297--304 (2011; Zbl 1225.14042)] and show that this manifold anti-canonically polarized is not asymptotically Chow stable.
