This problem is a weak formulation of a dynamic frictional contact problem of viscoelasticity for materials with long memory. The considered hemivariational inequality is expressed as a second order evolution inclusion \[ u''(t)+A(t,u'(t))+B(t,u(t))+\int_0^t C(t-s)u(s)\,ds+F\big(t,u(t),u'(t)\big)\ni f(t) \] and a recent result on its unique solvability is used.
