One approach to the study and classification of simple (finite dimensional) modules over a finite \(W\)-algebra \(U(\mathfrak{g},e)\) is to consider a highest weight theory for this algebra. There does not seem to be a canonical version for such a highest weight theory, and the theory depends on the choice of a parabolic subalgebra in \(\mathfrak{g}\), leading to different parametrizations of simple modules. In the paper under review it is explained how to construct an isomorphism preserving bijection between the parametrizing sets for different choices of parabolic subalgebras when \(\mathfrak{g}\) is of type \(A\), or when \(\mathfrak{g}\) is of type \(C\) or \(D\) and \(e\) is an even multiplicity nilpotent element. The arguments depend crucially on the connection between finite dimensional \(U(\mathfrak{g},e)\)-modules and primitive ideals in \(U(\mathfrak{g})\) established by Losev.
