This paper proves the existence of a symplectic resolution on the linear quotient of \(C^4\) by the direct product of \(Q_8\) and \(D_8\) (where \(Q_8\) is the quaternionic group of order eight and \(D_8\) the dihedral group of order eight). After some recalls and explanations, the authors compute the singular locus of the family of commutative spherical symplectic reflection algebras deforming the quotient space. They also answer partially the general and difficult question to classify the finite groups \(G\subset\mathsf{Sp}(V)\) for which the quotient \(V/G\) admits a symplectic resolution.
