In recent years, quite a research has been done on the Cesàro summability of multivariate Fourier expansions in orthogonal polynomials on different forms of domains, namely hexagon, parabolic bi-angle, unit ball, sphere, cylinder, cube. In this paper, the convergence of Cesàro means of multivariate Fourier expansion in orthogonal polynomials on the cylinder \(B^d\times [-1,1]^m\) is studied; the orthogonal basis used is the product of orthogonal polynomials on \(B^d\) with respect to \(w_{\mu}(\mathbf{y})=(1-||\mathbf{y}||^2)^{\mu -1/2}\) and the Jacobi polynomials of multi-index parameters \(\alpha, \beta\) with respect to \(w^{\alpha,\beta}(\mathbf{x})=\prod_{i=1}^n(1-x_i)^{\alpha_i}(1+x_i)^{\beta_i}\); \(w(\alpha,\beta,\mu;\mathbf{x},\mathbf{y})=w^{\alpha,\beta}(\mathbf{x})w_{\mu}(\mathbf{y})\). The author indicates that the product structure of the orthogonal basis does not translate into the same type of structure for the Cesàro means. The main result is Theorem 3.1. Let \(f\) be a continuous function on \(B^d\times I^m\), and suppose that \(\mu\geq 0,\alpha_i>-1,\beta_i>-1\), and \(\alpha_i+\beta_i\geq -1\) for \(1\leq i\leq m\). Then the Cesàro means \((C,\delta)\) of the Fourier expansion of \(f\) with respect to \(w(\alpha,\beta,\mu;\mathbf{x},\mathbf{y})\) converge in \(L^p(B^d\times I^m;w(\alpha,\beta,\mu;\mathbf{x},\mathbf{y}))\), with \(1\leq p <\infty\), and \(C(B^d\times I^m)\), to \(f\) if \[ \delta>\sum_{i=1}^m\,\max\{\alpha_i,\beta_i\}+\mu+{d+m-1\over 2}+\max\left\{\min\{\alpha_i,\beta_i\}-\mu- {d+m+1\over 2}\right\}. \]
