Hall algebras of odd periodic triangulated categories. (Q1956355): Difference between revisions

The authors propose a definition of the Hall algebra associated to any triangulated category (satisfying some finiteness conditions) such that the shift functor in this category is periodic of an odd period. In this setup the authors express the structure constants of their Hall algebra in terms of dimensions of certain homomorphism spaces of the original category. As an application, the authors describe the Hall algebra associated to the 3-periodic triangulated category for a hereditary Abelian category.
